All of the Beautiful, Intricate Headpieces From the 2022 Met Gala

The 2022 Met Gala is here and back on the first Monday of May. This year, celebrities were challenged with the theme, "In America: An Anthology of Fashion," with an emphasis on gilded glamour. Tonight, stars are showing how they're channeling the essence of the Gilded Age with black gowns, lengthy nails, and extravagant headpieces. To get more news about HEADPIECES, you can visit seekprecious.com official website.

The vintage waves and slicked-back chignons may be nice, but headpieces are the star of the show at this year's version of the fashion event — and rightfully so. Simple headwear like bedazzled tiaras and golden headbands made their appearance alongside elaborate fascinators and massive hats. It's clear that head coverings are key to the gilded glamour theme, and here are some of our favorite ones.

La La Anthony arrived earlier in the night in a burgundy two-piece with a swirly manicure and a large red headpiece that captured our attention. On one side, there's a large circular piece with red ovular pieces woven together. But, on the other side, the headpiece looks completely different — large and small candy apple-red roses shine, bringing this all-over red ensemble together.

Sarah Jessica Parker took our breaths away and clearly understood the gilded glamour assignment with her black-and-white Christopher John Roberts gown and detailed fascinator. This black netted piece covers part of her face, but it gets even better as your eyes travel up. Rolled pieces of black mesh pop out at the top alongside numerous strings with tiny diamond pieces in black and white. The fuchsia flower and leaves add a touch of color to this look that just makes sense.

Winnie Harlow stepped on the carpet in a short abstract white dress topped with an intricate white-and-golden headpiece that we can't quite describe. There's thin golden rods that flow from the back of her head connecting to the clear-and-white, sharp abstract pieces that curl out from the sides of her head. This piece almost reminds us of the legs of an insect.

This is far from the first headpiece Janelle Monáe has worn on the red carpet, and it won't be the last one we ooooh and ahhhh over. The black-and-silver, striped hood connects to her bedazzled gown, which is the same color, and covers her entire head. It's the epitome of glamour and excellence.

Emma Chamberlain was in the salon for hours the day before the Met Gala to achieve this light platinum blonde hair. Her blunt bob was parted down the middle and tucked behind her ears with a silver bedazzled tiara. This tiara isn't in-your-face, but the delicate piece matches her studded accessories well.

Tommy Dorfman made a statement with her hunter green, latex dress with black leather gloves. The small golden headband on her head complements the gold pieces on her cut-out dress. Tiny squarish shapes are all over the top of the headband.

Quannah Chasinghorse always brings her culture wherever she goes. For the Met Gala, she paired a large feather headpiece with a voluminous, baby blue tulle dress. The feathers were attached to intricate braids on one side of her head and look stunning with her jewelry.
